Describe Yourself:I love decorating. How things are set and displayed gives me a sense of calm.
Writing Poetry is a passion since I was young.
I am a Spiritualist --Ever since my Sister's Son died in an awful car accident. We wanted to know He was "safe and sound" on the other side. And, through our Spiritualism Belief--We know He is quite Busy on "the Other Side"!
--Being 50-something brings all sorts of unique histories to it. I'd love to share!
I have raised 4 children, and had a difficult time adjusting to life without them around. I now enjoy the quiet, but look forward to my Hubby returning home at night.
I enjoy reading and knit occasionally.
--Even before Spring arrives, I am planning out new plants for the Yard. I want to plant berry bushes, and I have been thinking about Crabapple Trees.
I spend every day of Summer outside. When I am working in the dirt, nothing else exists.
Our two small dogs entertain us--and are annoying.
We collect certain Ceramics, and Antiques. But some are handed down and have a story with them.

I also would like to find other Poets that would like to write poetry around certain words we would pick out. I'd really like to have fun with Poetry!

Favorite Books, Writers, Genres:Anything with a struggle of the Average Person., 'In this Sign" by Joanne Greenberg. The main character, a young girl has Parents who are deaf, and she has to translate for them. Sometimes embarassing things. , Another book, "Flowers for Algernon", about a young man who is mentally challenged, and thru a drug, his I.Q is raised., And, the book, "I know this much is true."by Wally Lamb--about twins and one is mentally ill.
